Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Answer telephones, take messages, and route calls appropriately
Provide accurate and reliable information to internal staff and external vendors
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
Receive, respond to, and resolve requests in a timely manner
Establish and maintain organized filing systems
Purchase office supplies and monitor inventory levels
Retrieve documents and produce copies as requested
Provide, receive, and process business and departmental forms in compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
Maintain accurate records of business transactions and official meetings, both electronically and on paper, to ensure proper tracking of all position-related activity
Serve as the primary point of contact for the department, professionally communicating with relevant constituencies both orally and in writing on a daily basis
Effectively use personal computers, printers, scanners, and copiers; proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Provide additional administrative support across departments as needed, prepare travel documentation as well as assisting with the hiring process of new student aides

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
