Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provides administrative support such as answering telephones, assisting visitors, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries. Schedules and coordinates meetings, events, interviews, and appointments, for supervisors, which may include coordinating travel and lodging arrangements. Serves as the HR liaison for the department; completing recruiting, hiring and other employment processes as needed. Requisitions supplies, equipment, maintenance, and other services. Assists unit management and staff in problem solving, project planning, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives; Posts, balances, monitors, and reconciles internal department/division monthly ledgers, budgets, financial reporting system reports. Completes the billing and invoicing processes for service.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience in utilizing systems such as AggieMart, AiM, and Banner is preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
