Job Duties and Responsibilities: As an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Admissions Advisor at NMSU Global Campus, your primary responsibilities will revolve around engaging with prospective students who express interest in our online degree and certificate programs. Your duties will encompass engaging with prospective students, providing personalized guidance and support throughout the admissions process, and serving as their primary point of contact. You will guide prospective students through the application process, ensuring all required documents and information are submitted accurately and in a timely manner. You will review applications and assist in meeting admission requirements. Ensure a seamless transition of admitted students into the NMSU Global Campus community. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, serving as a reliable and knowledgeable resource. Address their questions, concerns, and provide ongoing support to nurture their interest in NMSU Global Campus programs. Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and other campus departments. Proactively monitor student progress and take necessary steps to promote student retention and success. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.

Technical Connectivity Requirements:
For roles that use call systems or provide synchronous support, employees must maintain a stable, low-latency internet connection capable of supporting continuous voice communications without interruption. Wired Ethernet is strongly preferred due to its reliability and call quality. Equivalent wired or business-grade connections may be acceptable if they meet all performance and stability requirements. These requirements are subject to reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law. Consumer Wi-Fi–only connections (without a hardwired device connection) are not accepted.

As a two-year branch community college, NMSU Grants serves the local communities in Cibola and McKinley counties, including the Pueblos of Acoma, Laguna, and Zuni, as well as Tohajiilee, San Mateo, San Rafael, Cubero, the City of Grants, and the Village of Milan.
