Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

If Not a Standard Work Schedule: Mornings ,Nights, Weekends, Holidays

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Media Relations in the day-to-day operations of the NMSU Athletics Media Relations office; supervise, direct, delegate, and evaluate assigned staff; serve as the primary communications contact for Men's Basketball, Women's Tennis, and Men's Tennis; create multimedia content for social media and digital platforms, including photography, videography, video editing, and strategic storytelling; develop game notes, media guides, game programs, feature stories, and press releases; and coordinate game-day media relations operations and coverage.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Demonstrated experience creating and managing social media content for athletics or sports organizations, including photography, videography, video editing, content planning, and platform-specific content development.
