Summary:  New Mexico State University’s Global Campus is hiring a CRM Communications Coordinator to manage and optimize communication strategies through the university’s CRM platforms. This role develops and oversees email, text, and outreach workflows to support student recruitment, retention, and engagement. The coordinator will collaborate with university departments to ensure effective, data-driven communication. Candidates with experience using Technolutions Slate CRM to manage and execute communications campaigns leveraging Slate features will be strongly preferred.

Classification Summary:
Responsible for managing and optimizing communication strategies through the university’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. This role includes designing, executing, and analyzing communication workflows and campaigns, along with major projects, to support student recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts.

Classification Standard Duties:
Collaborate with admissions, advising, enrollment management, and other university stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective messaging aligned with institutional goals. Develop and manage all CRM-based communication workflows, including email, text, and other outreach channels, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with institutional priorities. Collaborate with departments to create targeted communication plans, segment audiences and populations, and personalize outreach efforts. Develop complex queries to identify appropriate recipient populations for communication campaigns. Incorporate data to send communications to each target demographic applicable for each communication. Maintain and update CRM communication templates, queries, rules, and automation processes. Monitor, analyze, and report communication performance metrics and develop reports to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements. Oversee the scheduling and execution of large-scale communication campaigns, ensuring minimal disruption, accuracy, and high delivery success. Train and support staff on CRM communication tools and best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.;
Required Experience: Three (3) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency: None;

8. Stay informed about advancements in CRM communication technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and impact.

9. Participate in professional development opportunities, conferences, and training sessions to support role responsibilities.

10. Perform other duties as assigned to support student success and enrollment goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience using Technolutions Slate CRM to manage and execute communications campaigns leveraging Slate features will be strongly preferred.
