Job Duties and Responsibilities: Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors; performs carpet maintenance. Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment. Empties trash receptacles and bags trash for proper disposal. Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers. Reports malfunctions of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damage to the interior of buildings. Stocks areas with appropriate supplies. Locks and unlocks doors as directed. May be required to move or lift heavy items. Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Physical Effort: Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
