Summary: The Office of Research Creativity and Economic Development seeks a Data/Records
Coordinator. Under direct supervision monitors, posts, and processes university data.
Creates and maintains computerized and paper records by performing routine queries
and generating applicable reports. Ensures integrity of student, personnel, financial,
and/or all other confidential records as appropriate by the department. Makes certain
that deadlines are met and completed with a high degree of accuracy. Incumbent is
responsible for training and directing records system coding and assignments handled
by assistants. Under direct supervision monitors, posts, and processes university data.

Ensures integrity of student, personnel, financial, and/or all other confidential records as appropriate by the department. Makes certain that deadlines are met and completed with a high degree of accuracy. Incumbent is responsible for training and directing records system coding and assignments handled by assistants
Classification Standard Duties:
Establishes and maintains filing systems for various data records. Posts and updates information to various records, and other related documents.Answers inquiries concerning the status of information requests; complies with policies concerning the various records maintained.Collects and extracts data from records for various reports; Audits data for accuracy and completeness. Scans and edits for errors during processing. Verifies information contained in data and hard copy records for legitimate requests for such information. Responsibilities includes related maintenance of large and complex filing systems (hardcopy and/or electronic). Assists in identifying, assessing and resolving issues/problems, and is required to assess and resolve non-standard issues/problems . The person in this role will be responsible for seeking advice and escalating issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education:High School diploma or GED certificate.; Required Experience:Three (3) years of experience related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency:Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience.; Required Certification/License:
