The New Mexico Online Hub seeks a One Stop Counselor II who will manage a pipeline of prospective students through proactive outreach, application guidance, and support from inquiry to admission. This role ensures a seamless student experience by coordinating with cross-functional teams and resolving application and enrollment issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: SUMMARY:
The New Mexico Online Hub is a statewide resource created to strengthen higher-education institutions and expand opportunities for learners across the state. This position provides comprehensive support for enrollment management activities within the online hub, actively managing prospective students through the enrollment funnel from inquiry to admission. Executes proactive outreach, application support, and cross-functional coordination to improve conversion and ensure a seamless, student-centered experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a pipeline of prospective students, providing proactive outreach and consistent follow-up through admission.
• Deliver individualized guidance on application completion, requirements, and next steps.
• Troubleshoot application, documentation, and system-related issues in collaboration with admissions, financial aid, and advising teams.
• Monitor and document student progression in CRM systems to support tracking and reporting.
• Interpret and communicate policies, procedures, and deadlines clearly to students and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate barriers impacting conversion and student experience.
• Support recruitment initiatives, virtual events, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA and institutional policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enrollment processes and overall team success.
Contribute to the overall success of the online hub by performing related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
