Summary:  This position will have responsibility for managing the fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources aspects, and the advisory board of the Learning Trajectories for Artificial Intelligence (LTs4AI) project under supervision of the principal investigator. Classification Summary:
Oversees projects. Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed. Must be familiar with the entire scope and requirements of project(s) and serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.

Classification Standard Duties:
Manages, coordinates, and facilitates projects or phases of a large or complex project. Develops integrated project plans and implementation schedules. May supervise or provide functional direction to staff and/or student employees. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field.; Required Experience:Two (2) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency:Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.; Required Certification/License:

Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will have responsibility for managing the fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources aspects, and the advisory board associated with the Learning Trajectories for Artificial Intelligence (LTs4AI) project within NMSU College of Arts and Sciences.
This position will also have primary responsibility for setting up and monitoring contracts and expenditures to make sure the project stays within budget throughout its lifecycle. Sample activities include setting up and monitoring contracts for the Advisory Board members, facilitators, and developers; payments to research subjects (students, teachers, district STEM leaders); processing receipts and reimbursement for conference travel and site visits, and payments for food/subsistence; and tracking expenditures such as subawards to partnering institutions; managing grant funds, updating / maintaining financial spreadsheets, and running projections;
This position will also have responsibility for coordinating the project, timeline, and logistics for research and outreach activities. Sample activities include attending and, in PIs absence, running team meetings; taking detailed notes on weekly updates, to dos, and decisions made; tracking progress with respect to timeline, goals, and objectives; coordinating research activities such as clinical interviews, field tests, and classroom implementations; coordinating recruitment and dissemination activities; coordinating AI Book Clubs and Practicums; printing of materials for conferences, book clubs and practicums; and ordering and shipping materials for AI Book Club and Practicums.
This position will also be responsible for communicating with the project teams, partnering school districts, out-of-school time youth STEM programs, participants (teachers, district STEM leaders, and students via their families), advisory board, facilitators, web maintenance, Tools developer, and vendors. The position will serve as liaison between the project team and the advisory board.
