Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon external funding

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist and oversee campus coordination of material and supply ordering, receiving, and distribution; scheduling of events and logistical arrangements for PD days; main office inventory; delivery of needed materials to all 11 classroom locations; oversees and coordinates with external vendors at site locations; troubleshooting various issues; acts as liaison between teaching staff and leadership; tracking leave requests; responsible for activity calendar and event scheduling; coordinates and tracks all ECECD background checks specific to our funding; assists with onboarding of new hires; problem resolution; serves as primary office contact; assists with day to day operational oversight; provides administrative functions such as file management, data entry, document preparation, and maintains personnel files.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Previous experience in HeadStart program.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed indoors.

Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
