Job Duties and Responsibilities: The DACC Business Manager is responsible for the day-today operations of fiscal support units such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiering, and other business office processes.

This position will oversee various functions for business operations, including but not limited to; budgeting and analysis, management, strategic planning, and other various duties.
• Provide data analysis and reporting of institutional financial activity.
• Provides support and oversight of Cashiers Office, including training, support, etc.
• Provides training and support on business office processes and procedures.
• Serve as liaison for financial and budgetary support to academic and administrative leaders at DACC.
• Processing and approval of financial transactions.
• Ensures compliance with University, NMHED, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.
• Serve as support and back up for AVPBF and VPBF.
• Serve as liaison to key external partners including NMSU System Offices.
• Collaborate with leadership across DACC campuses on System wide institutional priorities
• Provide leadership to all Business & Finance units on the implementation of strategic initiatives in support of the college’s strategic plan.
• Represents the college at various functions.
• Attend, participate, and/or facilitate internal and external meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 4 years of relevant experience.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Master's Degree or Higher Preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
